Terms of Use
1. The service
HoldSpot is a booking and payments platform operated for independent service businesses. Each business that uses HoldSpot is responsible for its own appointments, products, refunds, and customer communication. HoldSpot acts as the technical platform and processes payments through Stripe.
2. Bookings and payments
When you book or buy through a business on HoldSpot, your payment goes directly to that business's Stripe account. HoldSpot does not hold customer funds. Refunds, cancellations, and customer support questions are handled by the business you booked with, following their published policies.
3. Gift vouchers and digital products
Vouchers and digital products purchased through HoldSpot are issued by the business and redeemable only with that business. The business sets the value, expiry, and redemption rules. HoldSpot delivers the voucher code or download link by email after payment.
4. Cancellations and refunds
Each business publishes its own cancellation window and refund policy on its booking page. Within that window you can cancel via the link in your confirmation email and the deposit will be refunded automatically. Outside the window please contact the business directly.
5. Data we process
To run the service we process your name, email, phone, the bookings or orders you create, and Stripe payment metadata. Email is used for booking confirmations, reminders, and order receipts. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for marketing on someone else's behalf.
6. Liability
HoldSpot provides the platform "as is" and is not liable for the quality of the services or products you buy through it. That responsibility sits with the business. We do our best to keep the platform available and your data safe, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
7. Contact
Questions about the platform: hello@holdspot.co.uk. Questions about your booking, voucher, or refund: contact the business you booked with using the email on your confirmation.
